Common use
Fucidin cream is an antibiotic used to treat cases of bacterial infections of the skin including cellulitis, impetigo, infected eczema, infected dermatitis, and infected wounds, cuts, abrasions or burns.
Dosage and direction
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap or handwash and make sure that the infected area is clean and dry. Take the prescribed amount of the antibiotic cream onto your fingertip and gently rub it to form a thin layer over the infected area. After application, wash your hands properly and leave the treated area uncovered for a few minutes to allow the medication to be absorbed.
